The dark cost of bad service

What do you consider being valuable?

For some it is healthy, for others will be time and for most will be money. Many people have the dream to get more money fast. But this post is not for that. It is about the awareness that the cheap will cost you more in the long term. You might save a few bucks now and then, but sooner or later will bite you.

What I am referring here is buying cheap services. I was bitten recently by using ticket service agency, because I looked for the cheapest price. A big mistake. Now that I am calculating the extra charges, they asked me for and many phone calls. I think I paid a lot with my time, money and health. The moral of the story is to really check your sources before you decided to buy something cheap. I didn't check all the reviews in the Trust Pilot about this agency and only after the things got out of hand I left my review there and I saw that I am not alone.

This is the hidden cost of trying to save. I tried to save time and money by using agency only to spend more.

Next time, if someone asked you to use something which is way cheaper and great, always make your due diligence, because cheap things can turn out to be expensive.

The messy meeting

When you know there will be a messy meeting and there is nothing you can do about it, the best thing to do is to avoid it. Messy people produce messy meetings, and they take the time and the energy of everyone who is part of it. That is why instead of being part of this drama, find a better team and better meetings to invest your precious energy.

New year preparations

I stopped preparing for things since August this year. I decided to go with the flow. With no plans for the New Year, today I received an invitation to a party. Seems like not having any plan was the best plan in the end.
