Trends are temporary

 Initiatives seeing important before become obsolete now.

The green deal, moving to gas sources as one example.

Covid-19 threat was a big deal, but now since the war outbreak, there is no mentioning of that.

The issue with chasing trends is that sooner or later, they will fade away. Businesses made to satisfy the fears of some will disappear and new will appear.

It is up to us if we want to chase trends or build a lasting business.
